| Site Analysis for the culinary arts college design. |

This semester I am designing a Culinary school in Philadelphia. I begin the design process by considering other successful examples of buildings. Here are three designs that caught my eye.
Culinary Art School
Jorge Garcia
Interesting small culinary school loacted in Tijuana Mexico. Aprox. 9,000 sq. ft.
See full description with more photos here.
Download PDF below. |

Institue for the Culinary Arts
HDR
Brand new culinary school with oversized classroom space. Program is almost 40,000 sq. ft. See description and photos here. |

60 Richmond Street East
Teeple Architects
This is a mixed use building, not a school, that provides residences for the hospitality and restaurant industry. The design creates a sustainable eco system in an urban enviroment. This could be a resource you use in considering your own design.

Almost the Final Presentation
|

updated site plan:
+ refined pavement texture
+ reduced line weight for curbing and contours
+ added flora/fauna
+ tweaked parking, bus radius, maintanence turn around
|

Updated arrival rendering
adjusted some shadows |

updated entrance rendering:
Note the adjusted window!!! |

New tent rendering:
Took your suggestion to "set the plate". |

I have a set of basic floor plans and my program sketch from mid-review. Should these be pinned on the wall at the final review?
do i need to include a North arrow on the plans if the arrow already appears on several other drawings? |

Site section and parking section:
no changes made since last week.
Do I need any other sections? |

Still to be completed:
Update my 1" = 40' Campus plan
Complete accessibility diagram
Am I missing anything? |
