the stairs

| Carrie enjoys spending time at the park behind our house. There is lots of fun things to discover; swing sets, basketball court, trees, flowers, grass and Carrie's favorite... the stairs. The stairs have a railing with a rail that's just the right height for her to hold. She will spend as much time as her Dad allows (20 minutes) climbing up and down the stairs. |

b is for bubbles

| Life has kept us very, very busy recently. I guess you've noticed by our lack of blog posts. Carrie is learning so much. She's discovered bubbles and much more. |
| This photo is not staged! Carrie got the mop out and started pushing it back and forth across the kitchen floor. We are not sure where she learn this fantastic skill (certainly not from watching her parents). If only we could get her to do more of the house chores. |

A recent architecture design

Here is a quick sketch of an architecture project I finished last week. It's a small coffee shop that would be fictionally located in Philadelphia. It is named after Alexander Calder a famous Philadelphia sculptor. The highlight of the space is the emphasis on an outdoor eating area for "people watching".
Drawing, designing and discussing architecture has really been enjoyable. It feeds my poetic, artistic, intellectual personality. Maybe someday we can all get together for coffee and sandwiches at a shop that I design!

Easter 2010

| Easter of 2010 was an exciting time. The weather was beautiful and Carrie gots to see her cousins. Fun was had by all! We also shared our very special news... Carrie will be a big sister! |
